Rauchy spoof segment from Jimmy Kimmel lets loose f-bomb

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood, Today) 9/13/08 – “I will win”, Kathryn Joosten predicted to Hollywood Today before the CAA awards ceremony. Joosten won the category for best outstanding guest actress in a comedy series in ‘Desperate Housewives.’ “I’ve had a chance to taste a dream and I’ve had a banquet,” says Joosten.

Outstanding nominee for best commercial went to ‘Swear Jar.’ It’s amazing that someone can win amongst all these Emmy nominees it’s “f**king awesome,” say the executives at Hungry Man Production Company. If you haven’t seen this hilarious commercial, the dialogue is all about the “beep.”

Emmy winner Kathy Griffin was just as excited. “Here we are a f**kers, I will make love to if I could, thank you thank you,” said Kathy Griffin when she accepted her award for best outstanding reality program in, ‘My Life on the D-List.”

Funnyman Tim Conway took best outstanding guest actor in a comedy series in ‘30 Rock.’ Reporters asked Conway if he keeps in touch with Carol Burnett from his days on ‘The Carol Burnett Show’. “I visit Carol once in a while,” says Conway. “She has an ATM machine outside her house.”

Surprise pick Kathy Griffin stated she would go straight home and present her Emmy to her awaiting mother. “Does anyone love their Emmy more than I do?” asks Griffin. “I’m so grateful. This is huge for me. It’s a surprise for me.”

Don’t think the broadcasts are always so squeaky. They are edited for the networks but the real fun is watching the unedited broadcasts. The stars pour out their guts and lay it all out for the attendees and press. There is no holding back for some of TV’s best comedians.

The CAA awards are divided from the Primetime awards in order to honor so many categories in television that would otherwise not be shown on the Primetime Emmys if not for the time constraint. The CAA Emmys will be shown on E! next Saturday the 20th and the Primetime Emmys will be shown next Sunday the 21st on ABC.
