‘Transformers’ Director Michael Bay: Shia ‘Was Not Drunk’ During Crash

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Hollywood Today) 8/2/08 —- Shia LaBeouf , Hollywood’s newest Billion-dollar boy with Indy 4 and Transformers, was not drunk when he was involved in a collision that resulted in his truck flipping upside down ofn Sunday morning according to the actor’s boss, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” director, Michael Bay.

However, the police have DUI tests that may prove otherwise, nd are not likely to be influenced by Bay.

“You’re gonna see — that’s gonna go away,” Bay told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush for Access and “The Billy Bush Show.” “That’s fresh news… He was not drunk.”

Tthe director gave the young star regarding motor safety just days before the crash.
