Deborah Jeane Palfrey had been convicted of running prostitution ring for major politicians, revealed much to press
By Matthew B. Zeidman

TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. (Hollywood Today) 5/2/08 – Nearly three months before she was to be sentenced for running a prostitution ring, infamous Washington, D.C. madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey was found hanged in a shed outside her mother’s house in Tarpon Springs, Fla.
Conspiracy buffs may have a heyday with the story as she was considered a threat by many politicians who were rumored to be her clients. Yet police say they found two suicide notes and various other writings intended for her family at the scene.
Palfrey, 52, was convicted on April 15 of running a prostitution service. She had claimed that her business was a legitimate escort service and that if any sex was engaged in between clients and employees, it was of their own accord.
Based on her conviction for prostitution, as well as money laundering, racketeering and committing illegal acts by mail, Palfrey was facing approximately half a decade in prison, according to officials.
In a scandal similar to that which caused former New York governor Eliot Spitzer to resign, U.S. Sen. David Vitter was revealed to be one of Palfrey’s clients, having used her service multiple times between 1999 and 2001. Vitter apologized for his indiscretions, but unlike Spitzer, did not resign. He was not charged by police.

Marem;
you are mistaken; I had been in communication both last year with Debra durimg her case,& as recently as 3 days ago with her attorney Preston and Debra had confirmed on several occasions that she would kill herself before going back to prison..as an Author of my own book involving exposing ‘political agenda I would be the first to be suspect of foul play..there was indeed political agenda but it was in the sentencing of likely 15 years minimum that they were going to give her; people seemed to undermine the magnitude of what she must have been feeling knowing that in just a month or two, she would be turning herself in and not seeing freedom again until being close to 70 yrs. old…that’s alot to face…
