Proceeds to benefit Natural Resources Defense Council

HOLLYWOOD,CA (Hollywood Today) 3/22/08 – There’s been a lot of buzz over Britney Spears’ first small-screen acting appearance in two years, and producers of “How I Met Your Mother” are hoping to parlay that excitement to do something good for the environment. CBS and 20th Century Fox Television are planning to auction off the pop star’s wardrobe from her one-episode guest shot on the sitcom beginning Monday night.
The online auctions, which will feature at least six outfits worn by Spears on set, are scheduled to begin Monday evening, right after the episode airs. Proceeds will benefit the Natural Resources Defense Council, an environmental action group based in New York.
This is not the first time Spears, 26, has shed her clothes for charity. In the past, Spears has auctioned articles of clothing from her music videos, her TV commercials and even her personal closet for various causes, including Hurricane Katrina relief.

I am glad she is doing something productive. Hopefully she will get her life on track.
She deserves a break, she’s not a bad person, just mixed up.
