Britney’s dad Jamie Spears appears in court now that he’s in charge of her affairs and four celebrities now want her to stay with them: Klum, Roberts O’Neal and O’Donnell
By Stacey Silberman

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Today) 2/19/08 – Britney Spears will continue to have all her dirty laundry aired each week, as her attorneys were unable to convince the judge in her bitter custody battle that the massive media attention on him, the children and her was damaging those involved.
Attorneys representing Britney Spears and Kevin Federline resumed their battle today in front of the Los Angeles Superior Court to ask for a gag order in the highly publicized case, but Commissioner Scott Gordon denied the request. Britney’s attorney argued that the negative publicity posed a danger to the singer and was “emotionally and physically” damaging for the recovering young mom.
Federline’s attorney has never missed an opportunity to present the media and court every example of Britney’s errant mothering, driving, alleged drug use or drinking, etc. Since accusations are permissible for the press to use under libel laws once they are uttered in court, even in acrimonious divorces and custody battles, there has been a steady stream of negative spin on her – even more than her loopy antics have spun themselves.
Meanwhile, despite attempts to see her locked down, Britney just wants to stay at home with freedom to go out to the store or wherever. But she has a new option: She could celebrity couch surf for years as she is being lauded with offers from high profile moms, who want Britney to stay with them. Heidi Klum, Julia Roberts, Tatum O’Neal and Rosie O’Donnell have all made statements as to how sad they are as Britney falls apart, and that they can show her how to balance fame, career and motherhood.
Federline attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan appeared with current Britney attorney Anne Kiley of Trope and Trope to iron out a few things in the ongoing bitter custody battle on Tuesday
Neither Britney, 26, nor Kevin, 29, were required to attend the hearing, according to AP. but Britney’s father and conservator Jamie Spears sat in court on behalf of his daughter in her bid to regain custodial rights for her sons Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, now 17 months.
Today’s hearing was not expected to produce any major change in Britney’s visitation status, but the subject may have been posed at this time. The big custody trial is scheduled to take place in April and that is when the court will determine permanent custody arrangements for the toddler boys.
At this time, Britney is only allowed telephone contact with her babies, but will hopefully pull herself together enough to regain monitored visitation, now that her parents have stepped-in to manage her medical needs, finances and to prevent contact with previous bad influences.
Britney was stripped of all visitation rights with her boys following the Jan. 3 meltdown that resulted in a police stand off that landed her in Cedars Sinai Hospital’s psych ward.
There are reports that Trope and Trope will step down from the case once the court and the conservatorship have agreed on new counsel for the compromised pop star. To back up that rumor, TMZ reported that family law attorney Stacy Phillips also sat in on the proceedings today, fueling speculation that she may take over for Kiley.
Phillips has represented singer Bobbi Brown in his divorce from Whitney Houston.
Britney’s plight has garnered the world’s attention, which has oftentimes been highly critical of her erratic behavior, but it has also brought blog-loads of sympathy and compassion too.

The ACLU should be all over this. Britney’s psychiatrist poisoned her with psych meds through tricking Britney’s care taker Sam to medicate Britney on doctors orders with some medication poisons. Then the hospital psychiatrists, Britney’s family, and the courts used Britney’s mental impairments caused by their poisoning of her to strip Britney of all her civil rights. Just review the videos, and other records made at the time.
“It would be torture to give a powerful anti-psychotic drug to somebody who isn’t even mentally ill. … But here, it’s happening on U.S. soil” (ACLU attorney Ahilan Arulanantham)
If the Federal court lets this outrageous violation of Britney’s civil rights stand. The court will be sanctioning the drugging, kidnapping, imprisonment, poisoning, torture, and seizure of property, assets, and personage of any US citizen by conspiracy’s of psychiatrists, family, or others.
Based, solely on the highly subjective opinion, and pseudo-science of biased unscrupulous psychiatrists. In concert with other conspirators. And this could happened to anyone. Especially anyone seeking mental health care. Or who had previously sought, or received mental health care. This is so unconstitutional it stinks.

Awesome info! I was honestly just thinking about something similar to this the other day so, it was almost “weird” when I ran across this. You would be surprised how many people simply have no idea when it comes to this kind of stuff. Anyway, thanks for getting this info out there and I’m sure I’m not the only one who appreciates you taking the time to post this for the masses.
