According to court documents filed by Lynne Spears, Osama Sam Lufti had Britney in a drug-induced state of dependency, and played her both sides against the middle with the paparazzi

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Today) 2/5/08 – Lynne Spears has been awarded a restraining order against supposed Britney manager Osama “Sam” Lufti after witnessing his alleged drug dispensing and abusive control over her mentally debilitated daughter Britney.

Britney Spears fans looking for a villain in her sad saga other than the singer herself or the paparazzi, are now lashing out at the man that some have been calling Osama bin Lufti.

According to the filing he ground up the drugs Risperdol and Seroquel and put them in Britney’s food, hoping for “a sleep-induced coma so they could give her drugs to heal her brain.”

Yet the last 24 hours have presented court testimony and legal documents that provide an unprecedented real-time look into the swan dive of a star and those pushing her over the edge. According to the court document posted on thesmokinggun.com, Lynne alleges that he “drugged” Britney and “yelled” at her when she didn’t do as he asked.

Spears was also being given Aderol, according to the filing. Lufti reportedly gave her alcohol as well and allegedly said he gave her something in private “to make her light-hearted, happy and fun.”

The filing also claims Lufti said “I control everything. I control her (business manager), her lawyers, the security guards at the gate.” He reportedly turned off phone lines and hid cell phone battery chargers.

The court granted the temporary restraining order against Osama, which the allegedly menacing paparazzi-wielding ‘friend’ refused to receive by not opening the door to his home for process servers.

Britney, 26, was already at a low point in her life after her separation from ex-husband Kevin Federline, 29, but now she’s been committed to the UCLA psychiatric ward. Questions have been raised that Osama’s feeding her all sorts of prescription drugs that may have contributed to her erratic and bizarre behavior over the last several months. He would likely deny that, though he has been silent since he proclaimed to Barbra Walters on “The View” that he was her manager and that the singer had “mental issues.”

We earlier noted that Britney’s situation seemed similar to Jim Carrey’s portrayal of a man living in a public fishbowl in “The Truman Show,” which seems to borne out by Lynne’s allegations. Lynne referred to Lufti as being like the “general” to his ready and willing paparazzi followers, like the director was over Truman. And Britney’s life was broadcasted for the whole world to see and follow. So many people became invested in the outcome of this poor young woman.

After personally witnessing Lufti’s controlling behavior over her troubled daughter, both Lynne and Jamie Spears acted swiftly.

Spears has been off-kilter since the birth of her two children, which supporters speculated was due to post-partum depression. But nothing could prepare the public for what was to come over the last several months, especially relating to the care of her two young boys Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.
