HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Today) 10/26/07 – When it comes to driving, cast members of the cult favorite ABC show “Lost” cannot catch a break with Hawaiian police.

Authorities in Honolulu arrested actor Daniel Dae Kim, who plays character “Jin-Soo Kwon,” for driving under the influence around 3 a.m. local time on Thursday morning. He posted bail and was released, according to police.

The Korean born Kim is the fourth “Lost” star taken into custody following a driving offense.
Last year, police arrested Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje for a traffic violation. Agbaje, who fans know as “Mr. Eko,” was also accused of driving with an invalid license and disobeying an officer. Although all charges were dropped, “Eko” met his demise on the show shortly after.

Prior to that, actresses Cynthia Watros and Michelle Rodriguez were both charged for DUI incidents in 2005. They pleaded guilty, which led to a 90-day license suspension and $312 fine for Watros. Rodriguez faced a harsher punishment, paying a $357 fine and serving five days in jail.

Apparently “Lost” scribes prefer to distance themselves from their cast’s problems. Like Agbaje, Watros and Rodriguez were killed off the show. If the removal of his fellow actors provide any warning sign, Kim may soon be looking for a new gig too.

Kim’s previous television credits include recurring stints on “24” and “ER,” as well as guest roles on “The Shield” and “Without a Trace.”
