Rehabbed Lohan not taking any chances with club ‘n’ drug scene, holes up in Utah til next film

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Today) 10/9/07 – After completing another stay in rehab, Lindsay Lohan has decided to lay low for awhile. She will remain in Utah until she is set to film an upcoming project.

“I’m staying in Utah until it’s time to shoot Dare to Love Me,” Lohan says, “and then I plan on returning to Utah so I can stay focused and avoid other distractions.”

The 21-year-old “Mean Girls” star checked into the Cirque Lodge facility in August following a DUI arrest. It was her second in less than two months and came at the heels of a two previous stints in rehab.

Since then, the media’s focus has shifted from her wild lifestyle to her reconciliation with estranged father, Michael. Lohan’s parents are constantly fueding in plain view of the public eye.

“I wish it would stop,” she tells OK! magazine. “It hurts when two people you love argue with one another. I don’t think any child wants to see their parents argue or see their family fall apart.”

She attributes her newly developed, positive outlook to her 63-day visit to Cirque Lodge and understands that relapsing will always be a concern. “It made me look at myself, and all of the people, places and things in my life in a different way,” she said. “Temptation is always there, but now I’ll avoid it the right way.”

Fans should not be worried, though. Lohan plans a full return to Hollywood when she is ready. “I’m here to stay. My talent is a gift, and I’m going to use it in the right way.”
